Champs lost their second game (mercy ruled in 3 innings by One More from Oxford Pa.) of the tournament putting them into the Losers bracket Saturday Morning. Those of you you have been there, know how hard it is to come out of the losers bracket, especially with no subs and 1 pitcher. They started to hit, played solid defensive and received outstanding pitching. They eventually faced “One More” from Oxford Pa again. This time they mercy ruled them. Facing UniFirst in the finals, they were down 11 – 6 in the 7th and rallied for 6 runs to take the lead. However, UniFirst came back to win the game 13 – 12 in the bottom half of the 7th inning. Well done Champs, true warriors.
